Introduction

It has come to my attention in cold seasons past that there are an awful lot of singleton mittens, scarves, and other wearable detritus littering wintery streets, pavements and public by-ways.

To a mad Re-user, Rescuer and schitzophrenic Maker-and-Doer, this cuts to the heart.

However, I have a Cunning Plan.

It is to document these sightings and to collect items that are not too far gone. Items will be cleaned by my own washer-lady hands and safely stored for an indeterminate period of time (much to the chagrin of my husband).

Items not claimed (although claiming phenomenon is highly improbable due to insignificance of small blog) shall be arranged in pairs or singlets and donated in some way -- whether to a charity shop or to individual persons who might need some warm items..

This is my Plan. 

Other interested Rescuers are welcome to submit documentation of their own for publication and/or to assist in rescuing and donating.
